False lashes have become more popular each year, and there is no sign of them slowing down. Eyelash extensions make it so much easier to get ready and feel ready for the day.
Our mobile beauty therapists asked the lash experts what they wanted to know about lashes. We don’t want any of you to have a bad experience with eyelash extensions. Here’s what they had to say:
Before you start the treatment, make sure that your eyes are clean.
You will need to get rid of all eye makeup before your treatment can begin. The mobile beauty therapist will clean your lashes before you begin the treatment. However, it will be easier and faster to do this in advance. The glue will hold on to your skin faster and last longer if you do this ahead of time.
Do during the treatment.
You must keep your eyes shut throughout the entire treatment. Otherwise, the glue will not dry properly. Your Salonette will need you to close your eyes so they can properly apply your eyelash extensions in Erlanger KY.
Keep water out of your eyes.
It is important to keep your lashes dry for at least 24 hours before applying lash extensions. We know this is difficult. For those who haven’t tried lash extensions, it is worth putting a lot of water into your eyes.
Once your lash extensions are dry, you can get them wet again. However, false lashes may not be recommended if you swim a lot or do a lot of other activities.
Oil-free makeup remover
You should only use makeup on the tips of your eyelash extensions if you decide to apply makeup. Otherwise, it will be difficult to remove the makeup without removing a few eyelashes.
Oil-free makeup remover is the best option for lash safety. Oil-based products can weaken the glue that holds your eyelashes in place.
Top tip: Use an Q tip to remove eye makeup (with oil-free cleaner, of course). )
Don’t rub your eyes!
When the day gets tough, we all feel like giving our eyes a satisfying rub. Exercising your eye can cause your natural eyelashes to fall out. Extensions will make it even worse!
You must resist temptation if you want to keep your beautiful lashes.
Do not pull your lashes out
The natural falloff of eyelash extensions occurs after about 4 weeks. Even if you have the last few remaining, it is best to not pull them out. It is best to have them removed by a professional, or let them fall out.
Your natural lashes may be damaged if you pull out your lash extensions. You don’t want anything to go wrong in your eye area.
Check your sleep positions…
Once you have mastered the art, you can take care of your eyelashes while awake. You will need to focus all your energy on sleeping in the correct position. This may seem like too much to ask, but we recommend that you not faceplant your pillows all night.
Don’t cheap out!
It is a common saying that you get what your pay for. In the beauty industry, it is best to trust the professionals. You’re probably familiar with the many horror stories about beauty treatments that went wrong. While we’re going to give you some tips on how to avoid it, a good eyelash treatment can make sure that everything runs smoothly.
